I am a Staff Research Associate II. My projects involve mechanisms of neonatal cerebral ischemia such as regulations of Akt, caspases and Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinases (MAPKs) and certain neuroprotective agents aimed at these signaling molecules. I am also investigating the effects of cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor -1a (TNF-1a) in primary cultured neurons.
