Welcome to the UCSF BCH Oakland Child Neurology Division, which is dedicated to improving the lives of children with neurological disorders. Child neurology in Oakland is a core part of the cross-bay Pediatric Brain Center at UCSF, established to bring together all specialists involved in the care of children with nervous systems disorders, from neurological surgeons to neuropsychologists, and from neurocritical care physicians to physiatrists. We bring a multidisciplinary approach to all of our core missions: clinical care, teaching, and education.

We offer integrated clinical care to children across a wide range of neurological disorders. Our clinical programs aim to improve the lives of children with neurological disorders today, while our research and training programs aim to improve the lives of affected children of tomorrow. We offer neurocritical care and traumatic brain injury care within our Oakland hospital as well as robust inpatient and outpatient neuro-rehab services. We offer a broad range of neurological subspecialty clinics in our outpatient center in Oakland. We also have satellite clinics located in Walnut Creek, San Ramon, and Brentwood.
